In the MMORPG Palia, Copper is an essential early game crafting material required for upgrading tools, crafting furniture, and more. Here’s a guide on where to find Copper and how to make the most of this valuable resource.

In Palia, the best spot for mining Copper is just south of the Mayor’s Estate and Remembrance Garden, along the coastline. Here, multiple Copper nodes are dotted along the cliff face, allowing you to collect Copper, Clay, Moss, and more. The nodes in this area respawn fairly regularly, making it an excellent location to gather Copper.

Copper nodes are scattered throughout the region except around major Points of Interest. It’s beneficial to gather various materials simultaneously, given the way the node system works in Palia.

Copper is used to craft the next level of tools, primarily the Pickaxe and Axe. To craft Copper Bars, which are essential for tool upgrades, you’ll need to use a Smelter on your plot. However, before you can do this, you must purchase the Copper Bar recipe from Hodari once you’ve reached at least level two mining. Once you have the recipe, you can refine the Copper into bars on your plot.
