Palia: How to Obtain Acorns

Acorns are essential items in Palia, used for various purposes such as completing story quests and decorating homesteads. Here’s a comprehensive guide on how to acquire acorns and their significance in the game.

Obtaining Acorns

To obtain acorns in Palia, players must cut down Sapwood trees, which are commonly found in the Kilima Valley. However, it’s crucial to note that acorns don’t drop from small trees. Players should focus on chopping down medium and large Sapwood trees to have a chance of obtaining acorns. It’s recommended to use a Standard Ax for cutting medium trees or a Fine Ax for large trees to maximize the chances of acquiring acorns. While the chance of getting acorns is relatively low, chopping down large trees increases the likelihood of success.

Acorn Tree Seeds, required for crafting the Winterlights Tree, can be acquired as loot drops after chopping down Oak trees. These trees can be found throughout Kilima Village. Additionally, players can receive Tree Seeds, including Acorn, by completing Kenyatta’s Discovery quest, “Chef for a Day.” Upon completion, Kenyatta will mail players an Acorn, a Pinecone, and a Samara Tree Seed, which can be used to craft the Winterlights Tree.

Significance of Acorns

Acorns play a vital role in Palia, as they are used to complete story quests and decorate homesteads. Players can use the acorns they’ve collected to decorate their homesteads by planting them in the Furniture mode. The trees will grow immediately, allowing players to see their home adorned with new decorations promptly.

By following these steps, players can effectively obtain acorns in Palia and utilize them for various in-game activities.
