One of the essential upgrades is the Standard Axe, which allows players to chop down medium trees and bushes more efficiently. If you’re looking to make the Standard Axe in Palia, follow these steps to unlock and craft this essential tool.

Unlocking the Standard Axe Recipe

To begin the process of obtaining the Standard Axe, you need to reach Foraging level 3. As you level up your Foraging skill by chopping trees and collecting plants, you will eventually unlock the Standard Axe recipe. Once you’ve achieved this milestone, you can purchase the recipe from Ashura, the leader of the Foraging Guild, for 250 Gold.

Crafting the Standard Axe

Once you have obtained the Standard Axe recipe, you’ll need to gather the required materials to craft the axe at the Worktable. The crafting requirements for the Standard Axe are as follows:

• 20x Sapwood Plank
• 5x Copper Bar
• Makeshift Axe

Sapwood Planks can be crafted at the Basic Sawmill, while Copper Bars are produced at the Basic Smelter. If you prefer, you can also purchase these materials from the Blacksmith in Kimila Village, although this option may come at a higher Gold cost.
