How to Repair Tools in Palia
Tools are indispensable in Palia, but as you use them, they wear down, requiring maintenance. Learn how to repair your tools in Palia to keep them in top condition.
In the charming MMO Palia, tools play a crucial role in various activities, from foraging and mining to bug catching and gardening. As you progress in the game, you’ll need to upgrade your tools to access better materials and resources. However, it’s essential to understand how to repair your tools to ensure they remain effective. Here’s everything you need to know about repairing tools in Palia.
In Palia, tools can be repaired to restore their durability, preventing them from reverting to lower-quality versions. Once you upgrade your tools beyond the introductory “Makeshift” versions, they will suffer durability loss through continued use. When a tool’s durability depletes, it reverts to the previous, lower-quality version, necessitating a new upgrade. To avoid this, it’s crucial to repair your tools as needed.
To repair your tools, you can visit Sifuu, the local armorer, who operates a forge located left from the Ormuu’s Horn Inn in Kilima Village. Once there, you have three options for repairing your tools:
-
Gold Payment: You can pay for the repairs using Gold, with the cost depending on the level of damage to the tools.
-
Repair Kits: After upgrading one of your tools to its Standard variant, you unlock the ability to craft Repair Kits at your worktable. Each Repair Kit requires five Sapwood Planks and one Copper Bar to craft. You can then use these Repair Kits to restore your tools’ durability at Sifuu’s forge.
-
Repair Station: Upon reaching Mining level four, you can purchase the recipe for the Repair Station from Hodari. This crafting station allows you to repair your tools using Repair Kits. Crafting the Repair Station requires 10 Copper Bars and six Stone Bricks, which can be obtained by smelting copper ores and stones in the Basic Smelter.
To craft Repair Kits, you’ll need to gather the necessary materials and craft them at your worktable. Once you’ve upgraded one of your tools to its Standard variant, you can craft Repair Kits using five Sapwood Planks and one Copper Bar. As you progress and unlock higher-tier tools, you can craft larger bundles of Repair Kits, with the quantity increasing as you level up your mining skill.
If you haven’t reached level four in mining, you can still repair your tools at the Repair Station located in Bahari Bay, near the Bahari Bay Stables fast travel point, north of the Ancient Aqueduct. This provides an alternative location for repairing your tools if you haven’t yet unlocked the Repair Station through mining.
By understanding how to repair your tools in Palia, you can ensure that your tools remain in optimal condition, allowing you to continue your adventures and activities without interruption. Whether it’s paying for repairs, crafting Repair Kits, or utilizing the Repair Station, maintaining your tools is essential for a smooth and enjoyable gameplay experience in Palia.
